Lawn Treatments

Essentials Plan (Recommended)

Our Essentials Plan delivers supplemental essentials for great growth/color and essential weed control. It’s a simple, effective way to maintain a healthy, vibrant lawn. This plan offers optimal nutrients, optimal pre-emergent coverage, average insect protection, average post-emergent weed control, and no fungus prevention.

Includes:

  • 5x Fertilizer Applications based on latest Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium recommendations from published research

  • 2x Pre-Emergent Applications for preventative weed control

  • 1x Post-Emergent Application for retroactive weed control

  • 1x Grub Application timed optimally for white grubs but may have secondary benefits to protect against other turf damaging insects.

  • University Soil Test to assess soil composition and potential specialty needs.

    • Note: Soil Amendments must be priced out and recommended based on test results and therefore are not included in the base price.

Disclaimers:

  • Turfgrass under this plan is still entirely vulnerable to fungus damage, entirely vulnerable to sedge-type weeds (Purple & Yellow nutsedge), & somewhat vulnerable to insect damage.

  • Results (such as some of the lawns featured in the gallery) takes several growing seasons to acquire.

  • Environmental conditions will always have an effect on grass (good and bad). Without proper watering habits, no plan will work well for you.

Price:

  • Starts at $360 for 5,000 sq ft or less

  • Additional $34 for each 1,000 sq ft over that 5,000 base

  • Soil Amendments priced separately

Fertilizer

We feed your lawn the nutrients it needs to grow thick, green, and healthy. Timed applications support strong roots, better color, and natural weed resistance.

Soil Amendments & Test

Following a soil test to analyze key nutrients, pH levels, and organic matter, give your soil exactly what it needs. It’s the only way to have science-based care with no waste, little environmental impact, and amazing results.

HerbicideS

Our licensed applicators use pre- and post-emergent herbicides to stop weeds before they sprout and control the ones already growing—keeping your lawn clean, healthy, and weed-free.

Pesticides

Our licensed applicators treat turf for diseases, damaging insects, and burrowing rodents. Targeted applications protect your lawn from brown patches, grubs, and other hidden threats—keeping it healthy from the ground up.

Our Approach: “Culture” before Chemical

While chemical herbicides are an inevitability for modern lawn standards, we believe in the importance of “cultural” practices first and chemical intervention second. Cultural practices—like proper mowing, watering, aeration, and overseeding—are the foundation of a healthy, sustainable lawn. These non-chemical methods improve soil structure, reduce stress on turf, and help prevent or lessen weeds, disease, and insect damage. Because they work with natural processes, they carry lower environmental risk than many chemical treatments. When done consistently, cultural practices build stronger, more resilient grass while minimizing the need for pesticides or synthetic inputs.

Most turf fertilizers and some soil amendments today are synthetic. Both, however, should be seen as a more natural solution than synthetic pesticides because of their ability to be consumed and processed by plant life of all types. Both also expedite grass density and resilience, giving the turf the strength to withstand pests that would otherwise need chemical intervention. This order of priority is expressed in our approach to the service types below.
